Best News: Apple sent me a free 8 gig iPod Touch and a $100 rebate on a printer w/my Educational discount

Okay, the hype…

It’s all true.  This thing is marvelous!  It found my wireless connection immediately and started to sync with my iTunes.  Don’t panic when “Preparing iPod Software for Restore Stage” seems like it’s stuck.  It’s not.  It just takes approx. 7-8 minutes to sync.

You’ll then have to re-sync your music, photos, and videos.

Is it worth the $9.95 to purchase the additional iPhone software so that you can buy Monkey Ball?  I’m not sure yet, but Edmund seems to think so, so we’ll be downloading it shortly and I’ll post an update as soon as I know.
